Bangkok

Believed to be the most visited city by tourists in the world according to some lists (I’m pretty sure its actually Paris, but whatever), Bangkok is certainly a lively and wild city. Often used as a stopping ground when flying into the country, before heading onto the more exciting or wild areas of Thailand, Bangkok can seem a little ‘grey’ in comparison to the rest of the country, but there are still plenty of things to do. Want to hear a funny fact? Bangkok holds the title of the longest name of any place in the world. Huh, confused? Well that is because the city isn’t actually called Bangkok, this is a nickname, get ready for the full name and try in same it in one breath without slipping up on your words. It’s actually called ‘Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit’.
