Norway

If you’re heading over to Scandinavia then it goes without saying you better be prepared to wrap up warm. Norway has some cracking views, with Geirangerfjord springing to mind. In fact, all the Fjord’s are amazing, including Naeroyfjord. I’ve also written about Preikestolen, which I think is one of the coolest views in the world, however my fear of heights definitely kicks in when ever I’m around anywhere like this. Take a photo on the edge if you dare! This is one of the things that made it onto my list of things to do in Norway. Of course, another temptation to these lands is the Northern Lights, however you might want to time you trip to perfection if you’re hoping for some great views at night. In Northern Norway, the best time is between September and April. If you fancy an intense road trip, then you might want to take on the longest road tunnel in the world, stretching 15 miles, known as the Laerdal tunnel. It certainly wasn’t cheap to build, costing around 100 million pounds, however this is definitely a country of wealth, so this is just a drop in the ocean. Want a cool photo to show everyone at home, visit the town called Hell, then get a photo next to the train station sign. Imagine saying you live in Hell!
