One of the things I always forget to buy when travelling is sun cream, whereas often I have to pay an arm and a leg when I buy it abroad. I therefore thought I would have a look into the prices of sun cream in a number of different countries. The prices are based on estimates and averages and might vary from shop to shop, however I hope you find this useful.
London (UK) – Boots is a great place to get sun cream
Paphos (Cyprus) – more expensive in the touristy areas
Madrid (Spain) – look for supermarkets
Lagos (Algarve, Portugal)
Berlin (Germany) – unbelievably cheap!
Paris (France) – unbelievably expensive!
Barcelona (Spain) – Spain in general you should find is relatively cheap, however the price jumps nearer the beach
Dubrovnik (Croatia) – everything in general is a good price
Lisbon (Portugal) – surprisingly expensive
Munich (Germany) – pow! Another cheap German one
Dublin (Ireland) – probably the only item you will save money on, can’t believe how expensive the drinks are!
Nice (France) – same price as Paris, the price doesn’t drop
Athens (Greece) – Let’s just face it, everything will cost a lot in Greece
Cala d’Or (Majorca)
Lindos (Rhodes, Greece)
olinos (Spain) – expensive for Spain
Benidorm (Spain) – great festival
Ölüdeniz (Turkey) – Turkey is one of the most expensive countries for buying sun tan lotion
Del Carmen (Lanzarote)
Cala’n Forcat (Menorca) Wow, expensive!
Santa Cruz (Tenerife)
San Antonio Bay (Ibiza)
Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria)
Luxor (Egypt) – you can buy for cheap in a market

Do update me if you know of any other areas or if the prices have changed since I last posted.
